"Hard Daze" is more about respect, much like if Johnny Winter were to to go unplugged. It is a good cd with primarily acoustic Blues showing the Blue By Nature's versatility. I still like the band rocking more like on their two previous releases "Blue To The Bone" and "Live At The Lake", but not every listener wants to be blown out. Lead singer Karen Lawrence is equal to Janis and Tina with more voice control. Why she isn't a big star is quite baffling. ( Side Note: On the back cover photo of the CD, Karen is dead ringer look-a-like for Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame. Her persona on stage though is more tough like Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders...... Not the girl next door) (Avalon Don "Avalon Don" - Huntington Beach, California, United States)
