Formed in 1986, Blue Jeans is one of the pioneers of blues in Brazil, at a time when the market for the style in the country was just beginning.

In 1996, the trio was invited to be one of the attractions of Nescafe & Blues one of the major blues festivals in the country, sharing the stage with John Hammond, Pinetop Perkins and Johnnie Johnson, among others. This presentation drew praise from critics and public who cheered up the band's performance.

Influenced by musicians such as BB King, Buddy Guy, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, among others, the power trio of Brazilian blues is formed by: Junior Moreno (drums, harmonica, vocals), Marcos Ottaviano (guitar) and Andrei Ivanovic (bass), has participated in every major blues festival in Brazil and followed and promoted jam sessions with big names like Magic Slim, Buddy Guy, Big Time Sarah, John Pizzarelli, Peter Tork (The Monkees), Sugar Blue, Bobby Keys and Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones).
