Two Daze Gone 2006 Mr. Radio
Two Daze Gone was formed in the fall of 2005 by Jesse Wray (guitar) and Dave Keckhut (vocals) and it was obvious right from the start that both shared the same vision of making the ultimate rock record and started to write songs right away. Jesse quickly brought in old friends Dan Lorenze (drums) and James Hancock (bass & keyboards) to fill out the sound.
The band was formed with the intention of writing and recording a classic rock record filled with all the great influences of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Every song takes the listener on a completely different journey while still capturing the sound and landscape of the unforgiving desert known as Southern California.
The band took on the production and recording of the record and basic tracks were recorded at their very own Silver Aspen Way Sound. The drums however needed to be recorded somewhere special. Rockin Hoarse Studios ended up being that place. Owned and operated by The Babys Tony Brock things went so well the band ended up finishing up the rest of the record there. Tony ended up mixing the entire album and unquestionably put his stamp on the record.
Fast forward summer 2006 and Two Daze Gone are ready to release their debut record “MR RADIO”. A major record company or long list of high profile contacts won’t be found here. “We are releasing this record on our own label so we can make the music we want to make, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do”. If you love the Eagles, Black Crowes or Free we know this album will make great addition to your music collection. (CD-Baby)
