Trenda Fox is a girl from the Eastern Kentucky coal mines in the appalachian mountains. She was raised with her grandparents, aunt, uncle with Mom and step-dad they all lived together until age 10 when her mom, step dad and her moved out. She would listen to gospel radio with her grandma every Sunday morning and country every evening like Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt. She started singing Gospel in church at age of 5 then moved on to singing country and bluegrass at age of 12. Her cousins are a famous bluegrass band The Dixie Ryders. She grew up being classically trained in concert choir from age 10 on. She then discovered Janis Joplin at age 14 and was drawn to her. She started singing in bars at age 15 when her mom snuck her in and her mom knew the bands. She then moved to Los Angeles in 2009 where she has shared the stage with many members of big acts such as The Chambers Brothers, The Pointer Sisters, The knack and is currently on Bobby Browns new album. She is a mix of heart and soul as well as some country twang. She is a force to be reckoned with on stage standing at 6 feet 2 in her tall heels with a voice that touches your innermost core. That is Trenda Fox. A Star on the rise.
