Tim Elliott & The Troublemakers 2001 Bed Slats 'n' All

Genre: Blues

United Kingdom

This CD starts with an ear-bashing in the guise of "The Celebrated Tommy Ellis Boogie" and continues with top-class harp playing. Tim is well known as the frontman of Blues'n'Trouble, but he's also the main man in his own blues project, The Troublemakers. This record brings us a rough and tough feeling with an acousto-electric sound. The entire proceedings have a vintage sensibility, and Tim Elliott keeps it real via his raw, smokey vocals, and fine harmonica/guitar work. The Troublemakers do a good job of providing an acoustic backline, while they compliment Mr. Elliott at every turn. Another raw and cookin' release from Buzz Records. (http://www.dwmmusic.com)
