Tow Truck formed in 1998 in the town of Rothsay Minnesota. Rothsay is a small farming community, population 450, and is located about 200 miles south of the Canadian border. The band didn't let that stop them from writing the kind of music that has influenced and inspired them. We are talking about music from the real south, with sounds of harmony guitars, solid drums and driving bass.

Tow Truck emits these sounds on stage and through their recorded work, playing off their influences, from southern rock to the blues. They have developed their sound, which they describe as Roots Rock, a combination of straight ahead rock, blues and southern rock. With solid drums and a driving bass, the foundation is set for the guitars to sing their harmonies, add some gravely vocals and an acoustic guitar, you've just brewed up a full dose of Tow Truck Tom and the Roadside Wrecks.

Rope Wire Chain is Tow Trucks third and latest album. The band switched studios for this one to get a new feel. The music was recorded and mastered at Freeman James Studios in Maple Grove Mn. Seth Phillips engineered the project and added a new dimension. This album has a little more edge which the longtime Tow Truck fans have loved.

"REAL MUSIC IS OUT THERE, AND REAL PEOPLE ARE PLAYING IT"
