I have a cd for you but i don't know how to upload it to you
Smokin'Gun Runnin'for cover

SouthernBluesRock said...

@anonymous

1st step:

You have to rip the CD to MP3. Information about ripping you can get here or here.

2nd step:

Create a rar-file. Information here

3rd step:

Upload this file to the internet http://www.multiupload.com/ and post the link here or in any comment-section of my blog.

Hope I could help you a little bit and would be very nice, if you share this CD with us all.

All the best

Hi Cuby,

thank you very much - you have done a good job. Megaupload seems not to work, but this is no problem, all other links work well.

But there is another little problem: I would search the whole CD, not only one track. If you have the whole CD it would be nice, if you rip the whole CD and post the link again.

Thanks anyway

The version of the Player i've got is a 6 track album by the Chicago Thieves.......is that the one you want.

SouthernBluesRock said...

Hi mutznutz,

thank you for your offer! My only information: The release was entitled ‘The Player’ after the title track. All lyrics were written by Craig Giles and the music was written by James Batchelar, Danny Giles and Dave Searle. This sold well at the concerts and the material was received with enthusiasm when played live.

There is nothing more to find about this CD. So I don't know wether it was a 6-track release!

But in any way a download-link is allways wellcome ;-)

Thanks for your efforts!

why you don't publish flac files Mile?

SouthernBluesRock said...

@Bluesbeast

With my simple ears I cannot hear any difference between flac and better mp3 files. I also have only limited upload-bandwidth, so it is easier to publish my posts.

In my opinion, if anyone wishes best quality, he should go and buy the CD.

Thank you Bluesbeast for the Red Rooster - Never Alone album. Did you grap it from deezer.com? It is a lot of work to cut from a streaming site, but sometimes the only way to get an album!

Anyway a big, big thanks!

only the tracks.

I grabbed it from Deezer, but not with your program.!I experimented,I think the quality is very good!!What do you think? How is that straight from the heart stuff?

Never alone is on your request list but you don't post it? It's from 2009 or 2010?Why is that exactly because other blogs post it and why exactly before 2008???But it's noted...Fianally do you other great streaming sites?

Unknown said...

Hi Cees from Holland, why do you allways upload those files one by one and not in a rar file at once?
I think you own this cd or a copy of it...Otherwise you can't know what to look for!
Anyway thanks a lot!!

Unknown said...

I hope you know how to compress files with Winrar or Winzip.
Upload the .rar file to multiupload instead of separate mp3's !Than we can unrar(decompress) all the files at once to or harddisk.
You did the same thing with Cuby and the Blizzards higher up
Thanks for your understanding

Unknown said...

Mile I am sorry my downloadlink says Red Rooster - On the Move(2010).rar but it must be
Red Rooster - Never alone(2001) rar
Must have been the fatigue,oops

SouthernBluesRock said...

@bluesbeast

I'm searching for music primarily to get it for my collection.

Artists invest a lot of time and money to produce an album and the artists should get the chance to sell their music. Therefore I decided this year, to post only music from 2008 or elder. Think that's fair.

Thank you ARRGG for the Les Wilson link, but this seems not the right album. The album I'm searching has 14 tracks, yours only 5?

On request of the artist, Les Wilson will not be published on the main site of my blog.

just found outrider -
no way out (1990)

SouthernBluesRock said...

Any chance to get it, Bluesbeast?

Unknown said...

Mile,It's more melodic rock/AOR genre
You can DL it here(covers included)
http://www.mediafire.com/?srr807r07f48vcb (probably better bitrate)
or:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=X7GCMZ4Z
(192)
But I wonder if we talk about the same outrider? I read that it's the only album of the group and Dixie Rock asked for "long time coming"....

SouthernBluesRock said...

Probably these are different bands! The information about the requested album I found you can see here:
