Blues Cat is based out of Atlanta, Ga. The band has been together in one form or another approximately 12 years. We have always found a magical combination that is rare to come by. We are a blues band with an attitude!
Blues Cat with members Jeff Robinson: Vocals, Bob Patton: Bass, Greg Billingsley: Guitar & Ben Marshall: Drums, released a live CD in 2001 “Live at the Blue Sky Tavern.” The CD has received a lot of attention from many radio stations in Atlanta to different countries overseas. It is also being played in regular rotation on internet radio stations such as “Electric Blues.com”.
Blues Cat is a live band and that’s the way it should be, it is much more personal that way. We enjoy the experience and interaction that can only come from the kind of connection that you get from a live performance.
We are trying to spread the word in a sometimes less than modern way, by taking it one town at a time. The experience of meeting people from all walks of life, individually, person to person - it is a beautiful thing.
We are four guys, not that different from anyone else, we have an appreciation of what has been and what is to come – we are just doing it differently. We are Blues Cat
