Dutch's second LP, Break, was recorded live to 2-track and released on the Eureka label in 1975. His backing group featured Foreday Riders members Phil Colson (guitar) and Rick Lock (drums) plus Don Reid (sax), Keith Dubber (trumpet, flugelhorn) and John Power (bass, ex-Co. Caine and later of Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons). The album mixed blues standards with several originals by Dutch. (http://www.milesago.com/artists/tilders.htm)
In 2006, Mick Martin and the Blues Rockers welcomed back singer-guitarist Tim Barnes, after his successful projects with the revived Stoneground and the Shane Tiller Band, and Formally brought aboard singer/song writer Dana Moret, who made her first recording, singing "Rock Me," on their "Live at Constable Jack's" CD. Long a favourite of collectors and critics, the group has been called "the best unsigned rock-blues band in America." Real Blues magazine cited the Blues Rockers as the "Best West Coast Blues Band" six years running (with Tim getting its award for "Best Blues Guitarist" in the year 2000 and Mick sharing the "Best West Coast Blues Harmonica Player" nod with Mark Hummel a year later). Performing since 1993 in their home base of Sacramento, they won the Sacramento Area Music Award (a.k.a. the SAMMIES) for "Best Blues Band" three times, thus entitling them to a place in the SAMMIES Hall of Fame, an honour shared by only one other blues group, Little Charlie and the Nightcats.

On the initiative of Thierry and Emmanuel AESCHBACH, both guitarists and vocalists, NATCHEZ was born in April 1987. Fascinated by the Rock 'n' Roll of the Sixties and Seventies, with a very special affection for Classic Rock and Southern Rock, this band from Eastern France began with covering standards of legendary bands such as LYNYRD SKYNYRD, ZZ TOP, CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL, LED ZEPPELIN or AC/DC. Since 1995, six studio albums were released. Their compositions have always remained faithful to their favourite style, and are backed by lyrics in French. "Retour A La Source" (2006) was probably the ideal title to integrate the prestigious Brennus stable, et voilà ! A future classic... (http://www.musearecords.com)
Produced by legendary rock/blues guitarist Rick Derringer, Pitchell delivers seven solid originals and covers several great blues classics. Included is "Unsung Hero of the Blues," a fiery duet featuring and co-written by Jeff and Rick.
Jeff and Texas Flood's following has been growing steadily over the last few years; the band recently opened for B.B. King in Pittsburgh, PA and Rochester, NY, receiving rave reviews. Pitchell, who has shared the stage with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Ted Nugent and The Fabulous Thunderbirds to name a few, is rapidly building a national following, and this latest release is already receiving airplay from Boston to San Francisco. THE BLUES ACCORDING TO ZACARIAH TAKES YOU ON A RIDE FROM THE PULPIT TO THE JUKE JOINT
The Blues According to Zacariah reflects Zac Harmon's commitment to the blues with such standouts as "That Mighty High," "Who's Knockin'," "It Hurts Me Too," and "Comfort Of A Man."
The Blues According to Zacariah debuted at #14 on the Living Blues National Radio Airplay Chart, with tracks also on airing at XM and Sirius, along with the American Blues Network.
In 2006, Zac Harmon won a Blues Music (formerly W.C. Handy) Award for “Best New Artist Debut” from the Blues Foundation. Zac Harmon was also featured in the June/July 2006 issue of Blues Revue magazine, as one of the 10 artists that represent the future of the blues. The listeners of XM Satellite Radio voted Zac Harmon “Best New Blues Artist” in the 2005 XM Nation Music Awards.
Guest appearances include Mickey Champion on "It Hurts Me Too" and Gregg Wright on "Comfort Of A Man." Zac Harmon plays lead guitar, bass and keyboard as well as lead and background vocals. Harmon is also joined by present and former members of the Mid South Blues Revue (MSBR), who together with Harmon won the Blues Foundation's 2004 International Blues Challenge (IBC)title of "Best Unsigned Blues Band."
The Mid South Revue featured Jeff Stone on harmonica, Doug "Dug Mug" Swanson on bass and Rodney "BR" Millon on guitar. Additional artists on the album include "Cool" Cora Coleman on drums (now with Prince), Bill Purdy (keys), Phil Gates (guitar and background vocals), Christopher Troy (piano, organ and horns), Tracy Carter (organ, clavicles and background vocals), Joshua Dunham on bass (now with Prince), Andrew Gouche (bass), P-Bass Jones (bass) and Shannon Pearson and Dwight Wright (background vocals).
The album contains six originals, all of which were co-composed. The opening uplifting gospel song "That Mighty High" composed with Tracy Carter and "Cool" Cora Coleman is followed by a solid blues song, "Sugarman," composed with MSBR guitarist Rodney "BR" Millon with some satisfying thrills from Stone, demonstrating Harmon's range and versatility in the first two tracks. "Who's Knockin'" written with Phil Gates has humorous lyrics and quirky guitar showing that sometimes music shouldn't be taken too seriously.
"That's Why," composed with Christopher Troy, features Harmon displaying prowess on the guitar. Harmon's soulful voice comes through loud and strong on "Comfort Of A Man," written with Christopher Troy. And finally "Hole In My Heart" written with Dennis Jones tastefully brings together all the elements of a good blues song.
The remaining three songs are covers rearranged with Harmon's flair; "It's Cool With Me" written by former student Eddie Cotton, "Mannish Boy" written by Melvin London, Ellas McDaniels and McKinley Morganfield (Muddy Waters) and "It Hurts Me Too" composed by Melvin London.

Well, here it is, the live CD everyone told me I needed to record. I hope you all have as much fun listening to it as I had making it. Live recordings are the most difficult in my opinion, because there is no second chance. It is what it is, an honest snapshot of your music. No edits or overdubs, just raw (in some cases rough) and exposed as my music can be. So, here it tis! Please crank this CD up LOUD, open up a beer, close your eyes and maybe with a little imagination it will transport you to Daytona and The Full Moon Saloon so we can keep the party going!!!!!!!! Take a voyage to "Blues Island," and you're in for a stormy ride. But in this case, that's mostly a good thing. Supplying straight-forward, gravel-rough Chicago blues with a bite, as the name implies, The Chicago Kingsnakes put a good spin on their original blues tunes. Though the group needs some polishing, there's enough gems on this CD to make it shine. James Anderson, guitar and lead vocals, Ron Berry bass and vocals, and Tim Mazzoni, drums, all are talented musicians, and it shows. Anderson's fretboard sizzles and wails, especially on "Mr. Telecaster," the opening track. Other standouts on this CD include "Black T Bird," an uptempo Motownish tune that pays tribute to man's best friends - his guitar, dog and vehicle; the title track, which is another great showcase for Anderson's guitar playing; and "All Pain No Gain," an unusual look at one man's persistent, yet vain, attempts to garner a date with a very unwilling woman. Though a few tracks - such as "Abandoned In Hammond," - lack bite, overall the group's got a solid sound and the skills needed to slither on up the ladder of success. (Patrick O'Donnell - BLUES ON STAGE - July 1999)
For over a decade Dutch Tilders has been singing and playing the blues.
In this time he has gone from strength to strength. When I first met him he had an interest in Big Bill Broonzy. Over the years this has broadened into a deep involvement with the blues. Like all good bluesmen he has absorbed the many facets of the music from the post war electric sounds back to the 'down home' country blues.
This is what we hear on this album. There are influences that recall many of the great blues artists of the past, both well known and obscure. As they did, Dutch has drawn on his backgrounds and over the years, has envolved his own individual style.
The quality of Dutch's music has always been one of his deepest concerns. As his repertoire has grown, so has his own personal approach. A few words added or changed here, a musical phrase altered there, the final result being the emergence of a logical style of the blues performed in the Mississippi, Tennessee and Carolinas tradition.
More than this, Dutch has applied his own life experiences to his music. This is what gives his blues the final conviction that they carry; but then the blues does not lend itself to frauds. His selection of sympathetic musicians to accompany him here is another aspect of the thoroughness of Dutch's approach to the music which he feels so completely.
Here then is Dutch Tilders. Don't ever let him hear you say that the blues are dead or that white men can't sing them.
Their reputation and experience have led the group to Austin, Texas where in April 2007 they recorded with Stuart Sullivan, well-known for his work with Kim Wilson, Jimmy Vaughn etc… Despite the omnipresence of the Chicago Blues feel, a touch of the West Coast Sound has opened up new avenues for the quartet.
A little help from a few of Austin's musical luminaries such as Mark "Kaz" Kazanoff, "Mr Blues Sax" himself and Nick Connely (Delbert McClinton, Fabulous Thunderbirds) on a number of tracks and "Burnin' Wire on South Lamar" can lay claim to being one of the best blues offerings in recent years.
