Totty 1977 Totty

Genre: Rock
Rate: 256 kbps CBR / 44100
Time: 00:41:53
Size: 76,65 MB

United States

From the blistering Southern Rock instrumental opener, "Thus Saith The Lord", to the final chords of "Somebody Help Me", this explosive album by the Oklahoma-based Totty brothers simply rocks from beginning to end. Dennis and Byron Totty rock their way through 9 self-penned tracks as if they're a major headlining act, instead of an obscure duo from Tulsa whose privately-pressed eponymous album from 1977 enjoyed sales of just 50 copies (the number the brothers reportedly pressed!). Influences are in abundance, Led Zeppelin's power R&B and Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top also spring easily to mind. This is an album of the highest quality that will delight fans of heavy psych and hard rock even more. Highly recommend.

Tracklist:

01 - Thus Saith The Lord 01:34

02 - T-Town Tears 02:44

03 - Crack In The Cosmic Egg 05:09

04 - Love Down By One Share (Love Song To A Whore) 05:02

05 - I've Done Made Up My Mind 05:44

06 - Wicked Truth 04:21

07 - Trying To Forget You 03:51

08 - Take Me Away Jesus 05:03

09 - Somebody Help Me 08:25

My previous blog "get Happy" was cancelled because of that.
Knowing well Totty now, I can Say it could be a good BOC after "On your Feet..." I am not a big fan of the BOC's work after. Even "Agent's of.."
