POOR MOON

Originally recorded by Canned Heat. This was a challenge to somehow keep the mystery of the original but put our own identity to it, we think we succeeded! Some strange guitar on this-ask for this to be played at the next 'rave' you go 2.

HOWLING MY LIFE AWAY
A dedication to the one and only Chester Burnett. Started life last December at a sound check in Holland

BREAKING THE ICE
This has a Rockabilly style with a nifty Gospel style organ break. How did we get that ending Kevin?

PLEASE MR. POSTMAN
No: not the Beatles or The Carpenters, but a shuffle;currently in our set-an excuse to 'stretch out' sometimes!

PO' BOY
A wee bit of Country/Gospel here. Someone once asked me "Why don't you do more stuff like that?" Good question really!

LIVING WITH MY BLUES
This is currently in our stage set - gives us all a break for 10 minutes to get our breath back. Some mighty fine tinkling of the ivories from Papa Lou -"Oi, pass us that bottle!"

SWEET LITTLE CUTIE
An excuse to play rock'n'roll (Stones/Faces - not Elvis/Gene Vincent!). It moves along though. 'Singalongabluesntrouble'.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING
Timmy Boy Elliot cruises through a 50s Chicago style number featuring 'Holyrood Slim' on fine T-Bone guitar and Kevin McGuire on upright bass. No bottle of whisky or bowler hat required.

PRETTY THING
Always a favourite Bo Diddley toon. The guitar lines were inspired by some bloke playing sitar (badly!) in a restaurant in Norway!!?

BOOGIEWALOU
The title says it all really.

TWISTIN' ON THE MOON
This features Tim on wonderful slide guitar a la 'Hound Dog Taylor' on this 'permanently on loan' Eko Rokes, also features our driver/roadie/general dogsbody, Gary on harmonica.

gILLIAN
I've always loved the Allman Brothers, this hopefully will remind you of one or two of their tunes. Special thanx to Mike Park for the harmony guitar on this and the difficult bits at the end -it was great fun! - 'Sorry Mike!'

Hope U Enjoy It! J.B.
